A Novel OSH Collision Detection Algorithm Based on SDM

A novel OSH collision detection method based on SDM is presented and performed. Tescher present collision detection based on OSH, this algorithm has been used in many situations about mapping couple for validity. But Tescher used a barycenter coordinate weight value to detect collision, it limited collision responds that this algorithm can't measure depth and normal of contact. We present a method based on SDM to measure penetrating parameters, and constructing a valid collision detection environment based on OSH. Program indicates this algorithm is a steady and effective method.
